He was born august 7, 1953 to Marvin and Ethel (Brandhorst) Neese, in Waco, Texas, at the James Connally Air Force Base.
He graduated from Whitney high school in 1972 and continued his education for welding at TSTC in Waco, Texas.
His dad initially taught him to weld in a small shop behind the family home. His company name, Neese Metal Buildings, became well known throughout Texas and other states. He built prisons, schools (including the Whitney High School in 1995 and Whitney Intermediate School) many churches and beautiful homes.
At a young age, he developed a love for fishing and hunting. He had many wonderful stories of fishing and hunting trips and was most alive when he was there in the action. He loved telling "fish stories"! He loved being on any river, lake, ocean or sea. He had a true passion for hunting. He loved riding around in his pickup, looking at and admiring deer. He would offer hunting advice (lessons) to anyone who would receive it and he was always right!
He was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church where he used his construction skills to help build their arena.
He loved his Lord and many times you would find him quoting scripture and talking to others about Jesus. He loved to hold court in his man-cave. He always said he was a very blessed man. He loved sharing God with others.
He loved music!! He was always strumming his guitar and singing. He went to the nursing homes and shared his talent and received such a blessing while performing for the residents.
He would give you the shirt off his back.
He became a Mason in 1981 at the Whitney Masonic Lodge, #355, A.F. & A.M. and was a member for forty-four years.
He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Marlene Neese Eubanks; an infant brother and sister; and brother-in-law, Henry Apperson.
He is survived by his sons, Jared and Jeffrey Neese of Whitney; his ex-wife, Linda Neese; his sister, Darlene Pelham-Apperson and a host of family who loved him dearly.
