Nora Smith

Nora Lou was born January 13, 1915 in Hill County, Texas the daughter of William and Rebecca Brand Moore. On October 14, 1933 she married Elton J. Smith in Mayfield and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1999. Things she enjoyed most were sewing, making hand made quilts for her grandchildren, taking pictures, gardening and playing dominos. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include a son, E. Morris Smith and wife, Beth, of Hillsboro; a daughter, Leita Faye Campbell of Temple; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
