Norma Jo Fox

Norma J. Fox, 90, of Whitney passed away Saturday, June 13 at her home surrounded by friends. Services will be held Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 2:00 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Robert Wallace and Pastor Greg Johnson officiating. She will be buried at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.

Mrs. Fox was born September 3, 1935 in Quemado, Texas to James Earl and Lena (Singleton) Franks. She was the youngest of 2 children. She married Oscar “Gene” Fox on December 18, 1954 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. She was a long time resident of Whitney and attended the First Church of the Nazarene since 1991. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar E. Fox, and brother Bobby Gene Franks.

She is survived by her niece, Karen Eiland of Fort Worth, and her nephew, Gary Franks of La Grange, Texas.
