Raymond Allen Davis

Our loved one, Raymond "Al" Davis, age 78, of Itasca, Texas, passed away early in the morning on April 8, 2026. He was a fun, goofy, hardworking man, always ready for any shenanigans.

Al was the beloved husband of Susie Davis, with whom he shared 46 loving years of marriage. He was a proud father to Lydia Abney, her husband John, and grandsons Tommy and Andrew. He was also a proud father to Dave Vineyard, his wife Rita, and grandson Damon. Al was the son of Raymond and Susie Davis and brother to Drs. Suanne Roueche and husband John. He was also an uncle to Robin Maca and husband Steve Reitz, and a nephew and cousin to many who loved him dearly.

Al, known as Hooter by friends, loved his motorcycles and riding back-country roads. There are many hair-raising fishing and boating stories that will live on. He could often be seen around Itasca in "Alice," his side-by-side, enjoying a beer and watching the world go by.

Al's absence will leave a huge hole in the lives of his family, friends, and many friends that were considered family. We are comforted in knowing he has been reunited with the family and friends he missed so much.
