Rebecca Diane Marsh

Rebecca Diane (King) Marsh of Whitney, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Whitney. Diane was born in Dallas, Texas on June 8, 1951, to E.E. and Delia Jo (Smith) King who both preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Friday, February 20, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM to Noon. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.

Diane is survived by her husband, Garry Marsh of Whitney; her daughter, Robyn Rutledge and husband Dustin of Whitney; her son, Greg Marsh and daughter Reeselyn of Midlothian, Texas; her brother, Mike King and wife Debbie, of New Braunfels, Texas; her sister, Denise Foster and husband Carl, of Whitney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Diane attended Whitney High School where she met her devoted husband of fifty-five years, Garry. They married shortly after she graduated and began their family, living in the Dallas area for over forty-five years. She retired from Midlothian lSD in 2016, and they moved "back home" to Whitney.

Diane was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grand-mother, sister and aunt. She was always an advocate for her family no matter what. Her love, smile and wit will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
