Ricky Glenn Porter, 62, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Graveside services will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Peoria Cemetery, Peoria. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 am to Noon, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
He was born November 19, 1963, in Hillsboro, Texas to Coy Nolan Porter and Patricia Ann (Covey) Erwin. Ricky was raised in Hillsboro, attending Hillsboro schools. He worked as a machinist at Harbison Fischer in Fort Worth until his retirement in 2017.
Ricky was very talented. He played bass in the Dusty Road Band and enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Carolyn Porter; his grandparents, Bill and Eunice Porter; two brothers, Coy R. Porter and Rodney Adcock; and his uncle, Troy Porter. Ricky is survived by his daughters, Brandy Reyes and her husband, Salome, and Alexas Sierra; his brother, Scott Erwin and his wife, Tina; his sisters, Belinda Erwin and Nannette Janeway and her husband, Wayne; numerous grandchildren; his uncle, Lloyd Porter; his niece, Destiny Smith and her husband, Josh; his nephew, Adam Dobbs; stepdaughters, Tabetha Tucker and her husband, Brad, and Terri Hill and her husband, Dusty; his cousins, Randy Porter, Dana, Donna,Terry and Gary; as well as many other relatives and friends.
