Robert Henderson

Bob was born in Cleburne, TX, the son of Robert Lindberg and Dortha Florene NowlinHenderson.He grew up in Cleburne and joined the U.S. Navy and served for 4 years during Viet Nam. He then joined the Coast Guard in 1974 and served for 17 years, retiring in 1991. He married Phyllis Pepper Grant in 1985. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post # 522. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife, Phyllis Pepper Henderson of Whitney: son, Robert Thomas Henderson II of Whitney: two brothers, Jim Henderson and wife, Bonnie of Rio Vista, Steve Henderson and wife, Tracy of Whitney: two sisters, Becky Weaver of Whitney and Cindy Henderson of Cleburne: Aunt Ree of Rio Vista and several nieces and nephews.
