By 1970, Bob’s creativity & love for the waterscapes inspired him to start Land & Water Amenities in Houston before moving to North Carolina to begin Amenities Ltd. Some of his fondest memories were in Lake Lure, North Carolina, before returning to Texas in 1991, where they could be closer to family. After making their home in Hillsboro, Texas, Bob enjoyed traveling the U.S. and Puerto Rico to organize cell tower installations for Ericsson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phil Ljungdahl; and sister-in-law, Nancy Ljungdahl.
