Ruby Cypert

Ruby Cypert, 94, of Grand Prairie died Monday, February 4, 2008, at Grand Prairie Nursing Home. Ruby was born January 22, 1914 in Memphis, Texas the daughter of Perry McClure and Mae Cloyd Holland. She graduated from Seymour High School. On December 25, 1941 she married Virgil Cypert. Following their marriage, they lived in Hill County. She was a bookkeeper/store clerk at Babcock Auto Supply until her retirement in the early 60's. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband on September 18, 1991; two brothers, Perry Cloyd Holland and Thomas Clyde Holland; and one sister, Thelma Alice Chandler. Survivors include many nieces and nephews including a nephew, Wayne Chandler and wife, Linda; great-niece, Rhonda Chandler Clay and husband, Bill of Grand Prairie; great-great nephew, Phillip Clay of Irving; and great-great niece, Amanda Clay of Grand Prairie. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
