Sandra Middleton

Sandra Ann Middleton, 64, of Jacksonville, Texas, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Dallas. She was born December 27, 1960, to Kenneth and Irene "Nell" Upton of Itasca.

Sandra spent her early years in several Texas communities before moving to Itasca, where she graduated from high school and later raised her children. She retired from Republic Services after more than twenty years with the Itasca and Jacksonville divisions.

Known for her fun-loving spirit, quick wit, and love of shopping, Sandra always brought laughter to those around her - even if she was running late, as she often did. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her grandson Luke, who was her pride and joy.

She is survived by her daughter, Magen Sims and husband Michael of Whitehouse, Texas; son, Garrett Middleton of Jacksonville, Texas; grandson, Luke Sims of Whitehouse; brothers, Kenneth Upton Jr., Steve Upton, and Joe Upton; sister, Debra Upton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Upton, and former husband, Lee Middleton.

Her closest friends included her lifelong friend Lu Anne Henry of Hillsboro and her sister Debra, who shared in her joy and laughter through the years.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. Services will be held Wednesday, August 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Marshall & Marshall.
