Sandra Duvall Thornton

Sandra Duvall Thornton, 62, of Hillsboro, TX passed away on February 4, 2021, in Hillsboro.  Private family services were held.

Sandra was born on November 25, 1958, in Dallas, TX to OL “Joe” and Dorothy Duvall. She married David Thornton on September 11, 1980, who proceeded her in death on November 16, 1988.

Sandra is also preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dorothy Duvall and her brother, Larry Duvall.

Sandra is survived by her 3 children, Chantelle (Glen) Johnson, Danielle Thornton and Justin Duvall; brothers, James Duvall and Charles Duvall; sister, Beverly Smith; four grandchildren, Corey Dominguez, Jamal Johnson, Jaylon Johnson, and Kaylin Thornton-Newstead; 6 great grandchildren, Jocelynn Johnson, Jayzah Johnson, Jayah Johnson, Jaycee Johnson, Jaylah Johnson, and JaKai Johnson; her very special best friend, Mary Kay Young; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to Alpha and Omega Hospice, Homestead Nursing and Rehab of Hillsboro and all the nurses that cared for her.
