Sharon Hargrove

Sharon Kay Hargrove, 64, of Covington passed away October 8, 2018, in Waco. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. Ted Cherry officiating. (Please note the service location has changed from prior information.)

Born March 6, 1954, in Clifton, she was the daughter of Elbert and Birdie Johnson. She grew up in Covington and lived in Hillsboro for the past 4 years. On March 6, 1971, Sharon was united in marriage to Fred Hargrove. In her spare time she loved to spend time with her grandkids, travel with her husband, work in her flowerbeds, have fun shopping, and go to car shows.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Samuel Johnson; and sister, Midge Johnson.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Freddie Hargrove; three children, Jason Hargrove and wife, Mindy, Justin Hargrove and wife, Kimberly, and Jesse Lancaster and wife Ashley; and seven grandchildren, Ason, Shelby, Kailey, Dawson, Saydee, Gracie, and Kade.
