Simmeon Monroe Taylor

Simmeon "Sam" Monroe Taylor, 65, of Whitney, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2026. Sam's greatest joy was his family. He was a man of simple pleasures and unwavering love who gave his whole heart to the children he raised. His loyalty, his presence, and his love will remain with us always. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton and Linda Taylor.

Forever loved and remembered by his son, Andrew Doty and wife Haylee; grandchildren, Payslee and Addie Doty; sisters Junea Wisan, Eddie Johnson, and Lisa Hart; nieces, Desiree Johnson, Crystal Johnson, Stephanie Maples and husband Darryl; nephew, Dalton Aquilar and wife Yardley; and great nieces and nephews, Skye Jasmine, Dakota, Elijah, Carson, Reyna, Emily, and Dalton Jr. 

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
