Steven Sigmon

Steven Sigmon passed away at his home in Whitney, Texas Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the age of 53. 

Steven Edgar Hale was born in Odessa, Texas, on November 8, 1972. He graduated from Iraan High School in 1991 and served in the military as a Marine for 4 years. He enjoyed exercising, water aerobics, watching movies, and preparing delicious barbecue on his smoker.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Hale, and sister, Tracy Diane Hale; uncles, Harold Sigmon and Robert Sigmon; and grandparents, Robert and Verna Sigmon.

Steven is survived by his mother, Linda Sigmon Dewitt of Whitney, Texas. He is lovingly remembered by his Aunt, Sherry Sigmon. his Aunt Sissy Harvey, and cousins, Page Boyd, Amber Gipson, Cade Sigmon, Daniel Sigmon, and David Sigmon.

Memorial donations may be made to the White Bluff Chapel for the Build Now 2026 Fund.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
