Tammy L. Chatham

Tammy Chatham, 62, of Brandon, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Bridgeport, Texas. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall.

She was born June 26, 1963, in Delhi, Louisiana, to James Stuart and Margaret Chitwood. Tammy grew up in different locations around the country, living most of her life in Brandon. She worked many jobs throughout her life until she retired in 2023. Her favorite job was being manager at Jims Krispy Chicken. She loved to joke and talk nonstop with her customers over her twenty years of service at Jims. Tammy never met a stranger. She married Leland Chatham on May 21, 1981, and they moved to Brandon in 1993 from Houston.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Jim and Margaret Stuart; and her husband, Leland Chatham. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Chatham and partner, Jon, of Bridgeport, Debbie Johnson and spouse, Will, of Brandon, bonus son, Cody Wilde and spouse, Ashlee; brother, Patrick Laird and spouse, Christine; brother-in-law, Kenneth Chatham and spouse, Rebecca; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
