Ted Dozier

Ted Dozier passed away on March 28, 2005 in a Dallas hospital. He was the son of James William and Ruby Novelene Crow Dozier and grew up in Mineral Wells. On October 14, 1977, Ted married Betsy Adair. He was a self-employed grocery store owner for several years in Burleson and then was in the insurance business before retiring in 1991 after 30 years. He was a Mason and a member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney; served on several committees in the church and was a member of King Fisherman Emmaus Community. Preceding him in death were two daughters, Debbie Strain and Jamie Tauring and brother, James Dozier. Survivorsinclude his wife, Betsy Dozier of Morgan; children: Cathy Webster of Mesquite, Jim Dozier of Mineral Wells, Ann Smith of Santa Rosa, CA, Jerry Wickert of Phoenix, AZ; sister: Jimmylene Andress of Morgan; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
