Terry Glenn Horner

February 5th 1946-September 5,2025. Born in Brownfield,Texas on February 5th, 1946. Terry Glenn Horner passed away peacefully on Friday September 5,2025 in Whitney,Texas surrounded by loved ones. He was 79 years old.

A man of quiet strength and generous spirit. Terry never met a stranger. His kindness, warmth, and ability to truly listen made him a steady presence in the lives of those around him. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a story over coffee, he made people feel seen and valued. He found joy in the hum of an engine and the scent of sawdust-car racing ,woodworking, and photography were more than hobbies; they were expressions of his creativity and curiosity. He captured life through a lens, built with his hands, and raced with passion. Terry’s love for the Lord and his church was a cornerstone of his life. His faith shaped the way he treated others. Terry Glenn Horner was a member of King Memorial Church and was an active member of the church choir. Coaching was another of his callings-he gave his time generously to guide others with patience and encouragement.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Melinda Horner;his children, Lindsay, and her husband Billie,Natalie, and Ross; his five grandchildren, Preston,Elyjah,Michael, Hartlie, and Kinsley. Also his two sisters and nieces and nephews. His legacy lives on in the love he gave, the stories he told, and the lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire acts of kindness in the world he leaves behind.

Our family would like to thank Whitney Nursing and Rehabilitation and The Bluebonnet Hospice team for the love and attention that Terry received while in their care.
