Thelma Louise (Davis) Slack

Thelma Louise (Davis) Slack, age 97, of Whitney, went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2022.

Thelma was born on November 6, 1924, in Mansfield, Texas ( now  Arlington, Texas), to her parents Blanche and Clyde Davis, Sr. In her early years, she was a librarian, and learned to love genealogy and scrapbooking. Thelma was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Clyde Davis, Sr.; Her husband, Liston W. Slack; and siblings, Clyde, Jr. (Sonny), Alvin, and Mildred.

She leaves behind those to cherish her memory is her sister, Janet Buckelew; Her children, John (wife Shirley) Paroulek and Michael (wife Sherry) Paroulek; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
