Vera Green

Vera Green, 70, of Whitney passed away on March 3, 2009. Vera was born on April 18, 1938 in Harlingen, TX, the daughter of Martin and Vera Mae Russell Rich. She married Leslie Eddy Green on Jan. 17, 1958 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1994. She had worked as a LVN for hospitals retiring in 1993. She was of the Baptist faith. Vera loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the proud owner of several puppies. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Tommy Rich. Survivors: children, Larry Joe Green, Terry Lee Green and wife, Dianna Gayle, Robert Leslie Green and wife, Carol, Wanda Kay Pass, Virgil Wayne Green and wife, Glynnis; brother, Virgil Lee Culp; sisters, Frances Sullivan, Faye Lynn Blakenship; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
