Virginia Ince

Virginia Dell Ince, 84, of Whitney passed away on February 13, 2009 in Whitney. Virginia was born on June 7, 1924 in the Prairie Valley Community to Kenneth Roy and Bessie Mae Wagner Ivy. She had lived in Whitney all of her life. On Dec. 21, 1942 she married Edwin Ince and he preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1994. Virginia had worked at the United States Post Office in Whitney for several years. She was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sons, Jessie Roy and Johnny Mack Ince. Survivors: son, Jodie Edwin Ince and wife, Janice of Whitney; daughter-in-law, Diane Ince of West; brother, Kenneth Ray Ivy of Whitney; sister, Barbara Ann Hoffman and husband, Floyd of Fort Worth; 2 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
