Virginia (Springer) Williams

Virginia Williams (Springer), age 85, of Whitney, TX passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at her residence. A graveside service is scheduled 2:00 pm Monday, February 21, 2022, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney, TX. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney, TX.

Virginia was born June 12, 1936, in Mertens, Texas to Malcomb Bryan and Rozella (Posey) Springer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Virginia worked at MHMR for about 19 years, and she volunteered at the school in Whitney for some time. When she was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and painting. She will be dearly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Williams; parents, Malcomb Bryan and Rozella (Posey) Springer; son, Timothy D. Williams; brother, Owen Byran Springer; and sister, Wanda Hartgraves.

Virginia is survived by her children, Tammy Aguirre and husband, Roy of Whitney, Thomas Williams of Whitney; brother, Gary Dean Springer of Seven Points; grandson, Jeffrey D. Aguirre and wife April Lee of Whitney; and great-grandsons, Brendon and Cohen Aguirre.
