Wanda Bonner

Wanda Jean Bonner, 81, of Dallas, formerly of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the Odyssey Hospice House in Fort Worth. Wanda was born September 26, 1928 in Hillsboro, where she lived most of her life, daughter of the late Ned C. and Hassie Jean Campbell. On April 8, 1948 she married George Bonner and he preceded her in death on January 25, 1988. For 25 years, she taught school in Hillsboro before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, traveling, and cooking. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Rebecca Bonner on January 14, 2007, and a brother, Jerry Campbell. Survivors include two children, Georgia Bonner of Dallas and Don Bonner and wife, Sarah, of Cleburne. Memorials may be made to the Hill County Paw Pals, P. O. Box 1533, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
