Ysaias Villarreal, SR.

Ysaias H. Villarreal, Sr., age 69, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro, Texas with burial to follow at Itasca Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Marshall and Marshall.

He was born June 1, 1957, in Edcouch, Texas, to Reverend Jesus Villarreal and Rebeca Herrera Villarreal. Ysaias was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jessie, Alfonso and Samuel; sisters, Angie and Magdalena; and daughter, Melinda.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Ysaias Villarreal, Jr. of McGregor, Phillip Littlejohn, Paul Littlejohn, and Ruben Littlejohn and wife, Megan, Daniel Littlejohn, all of Itasca, and Andrew Villarreal, of Dallas; daughters, Rose Linda Olguin of Houston, Melissa Lainhart of LaPorte, Margrett Littlejohn and Andrew, of Mesquite and Kristina Villarreal and Jonathan, of Mesquite; eighteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Lazaro Villarreal, Rueben Villarreal and Maria Villarreal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means we will miss you until we meet again.
