Obituary

Adam Joe Humphries, 31 of Kopperl passed on to his eternal life surrounded by his family on May 6, 2023. Memorial services will be held May 12, 2023 at 2:00pm at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home in Whitney, Texas.

Adam was born February 3, 1992 to Dale and Denice Humphries.  He attended Kopperl School and graduated in 2010.  Adam loved the lake and chose to stay around the area for his adult life. Adam was a friend to all he met. Those close to him would best describe him as laid back and easy going with a kind hearted soul, who was always smiling, and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

While growing up, Adam loved skate boarding, Tae Kwan Do, and was a self-taught musician.  He loved playing the guitar and learned entirely by ear.  He especially loved playing “Simple Man” for his mom.

Adam is survived by his mother, Denice; his father, Dale; brother, Allan (Paige); brother, Jessie (Alix); and brother, Chris (Tonja);  nephews, Peyton, Avery and Anthony; nieces, Makenzi and Maci; Maternal Grandmother, Chris Parks; and many extended family and close friends who will miss him dearly.
