Albert Brack Manis

Albert “Brack” Manis passed away peacefully in his home on August 26, 2020 at age 82. Raised in Midlothian and known to his friends there as “Babe”, he lived a life as large as his personality. Responsible for a number of businesses through the years, during his 29 years in Hillsboro, Texas he focused his talents on ranching and real estate. He is survived by his three children, Terry Morelock, Chris Manis, Greg Manis, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by his wife and business partner Sharon “Shay” Manis, who mourns his passing and is grateful for the privilege of loving him for more than forty years. Known for his smile, wink and unforgettable charisma, when asked if he could be anything he would always respond, “A good person,” and to those who mourn him he was, and so much more.
