Angelita Rodriguez Noyola age 76, of Whitney, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. Visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022, followed by a sermon from Pastor Rolando Lozoya from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, followed by a procession to Hillcrest Garden of Memory with Pastor Alfredo Montes officiating.
Angelita Rodriguez Noyola was born on July 16, 1945, in Charco, Texas, to Juan and Francisca Rodriguez. She moved to Hill County in 1968 from Taft, Texas. Angie married Salvador Noyola Jr in 1978 eventually moving to Whitney, Texas where she resided for 36 years after moving from Hillsboro, Texas. Angie worked as a community outreach counselor for the Texas Department of Health for over 30 years where she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Salvador, her sister Magdalena Martinez, her son Martin Mendez, and daughter-in-law Ruby Mendez. Angie is survived by her five children Jose Mendez of Whitney, Texas, Frances and Gerald Ramirez of Waco, Texas, Sally and Rolando Lozoya of Austin, Texas, Tina and Jerret Gilcrease of Allen, Texas, and Richard Noyola of Whitney, Texas; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved very much.
