Betty Jean (Myers) Moore

Betty Jean Moore, age 87, passed away Saturday June 27, 2020 in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday June 29, 2020 at Ridge Park Cemetery with Mr. Hubert Payne officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday June 28, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Betty Jean was born January 4, 1933 in the Union Bluff community of Hill County, the daughter of Norman Ted Myers and Lillie Mae (McConathy) Myers. She married Finis Moore on February 14, 1950 in Hillsboro. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Gary F. Moore and Jimmy Don Moore; brother, Billy Norman Myers and sister, Barbara Nell Myers.

Betty Jean is survived by her husband of 70 years, Finis Moore of Hillsboro; daughters, Betty C. Gilley of Hubbard and Jeanie K. Goff and husband, Jerry of Hillsboro; son, Billy F. Moore of Joshua; sisters, Darlene Lee of The Colony and Carol Cox of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Gary Finis Moore, Jr., Linda Moore, Crystal Goff, Mandy Rodriguez, Jeremy Moore and Cindy Moore; great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Ian, Erykah, Amber, Taylor, Gregory, Benjamin, Brianna, Keely, Samantha, Gabrielle, Abry, Jeremy, Jr. and Mia; great great grandchildren, Kaiya and Anali.
