Cassandra Naomi Willis

Cassandra Naomi Willis of Clifton, Texas, 38, passed quietly at home after battling cancer on May 17, 2022. Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas at 1:00 pm with Pastor Stuart Huey of Lorena, Texas officiating.

Cassandra was born March 19, 1984, in Clifton, Texas to Thomas Roger and Barbara Lou (Record) Willis. She grew up in the Laguna Park and Clifton area, graduating from Clifton High School with honors and later attending a few colleges for Philosophy and German language. Cassandra had her first and only child Holden Willis Ramirez on January 14, 2022, and married Juan Antonio Ramirez on May 8, 2022. She worked for many years at Hanes Outlet in Hillsboro later working for Zales in Round Rock. Cassandra was always dedicated to mastering what lay before her. She was in band and played sports in high school. She enjoyed knitting and sewing, working in the yard, she was very crafty. She also could enjoy just sitting back with family or friends and watch a good movie or TV series. Cassandra is Christian. Her faith and trust is in our Lord Jesus. She is with Him now.

Cassandra was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Thelma Record and John J Willis; aunts, Margaret, Virginia, and Velda; and uncle, James Willis.

Cassandra is survived by husband, Juan Antonio Ramirez; son, Holden Willis Ramirez of Abbott; parents, Thomas and Barbara Willis of Clifton; sister, Hope Carlin and husband Wayne of Lacassine, Louisiana; grandmother, Norma Jean Willis of Houston; nieces, Julie and Penny Carlin of Louisiana; aunts, Betty Pearce of Whitney, and Beatrice Record of Laguna Park; uncles, John M. Willis of Houston and Charles L. Record of Whitney;  along with many cousins, and friends.
