Charles Jerry Anderson

Charles Jerry Anderson, 69, of Whitney passed away on July 1, 2020 in Waco.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. Shane Metcalf officiating.   Burial will follow at Towash Cemetery near Whitney.   A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the funeral home.

Charles was born on October 15, 1950, in Bosque County, Texas to Cora (Wilson) and Robert Anderson.  

Preceding him in death were his wife, Marsha Anderson; grandsons, Dymonique Anderson and Quasha Anderson; a brother, Robert Anderson; sisters, Ida Anderson, Maggie Anderson; and sister-in-law, Ruby Anderson.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Anderson and Tyrone and Anderson and wife Clorice, all of Whitney  ; and daughter, Avra Byrd and husband Joe of Waco; brothers, Jasper Anderson and wife Martha, James Anderson, Joe Anderson and wife, Queen and Ivy Anderson all of Whitney; a sister Viola Anderson also of Whitney; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
