Christi Kay (Richardson) Thomas

Christi was born November 14, 1953 and went to meet the Lord on December 21, 2021. Although she was born in Fort Worth Texas she resided in North Richland Hills and Grand Prairie for many years. Christi had been a resident of Whitney Texas for the last 25 years and a care giver to her mother for the last 10 years.

Predeceased by her husband, James Thomas; and her father, James Richardson.
Survived by her son, Nick and wife Trina; her son, Chance; her mother, Murleen Richardson; and her brother, James Neal; along with other relatives’ nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a licensed hairstylist for 20 plus years, then the person who could give you a haircut after a family gathering. Christi was very creative.  She could make a meal out of nothing or a costume that would win prizes. Christi was an artist, whether making a pencil drawing or a stain glass window, her artistic abilities were amazing.

Christi loved her family and being outdoors. The beach being her favorite place especially when spending time with family. She loved animals and was basically Ms. Doolittle. She could nurse almost any type of animal back to health even - in the middle of the night.

Those who loved her knew she could be clairvoyant. If you lost something she could tell you where to find it, or did not know which path to take, she could tell you which option was most suitable for you. She could not do it for herself, only for others. But when she helped you, you knew she shared a true gift.

Christi was a child of God and will be remembered, loved, and greatly missed.
