Chrystal Lee (Rodriguez) Ervin

Chrystal Lee Ervin, age 42 of Grandview, Texas passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, February 10, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Pastor Abel Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Itasca Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral home.

Chrystal was born November 2, 1980, in Burleson, Texas to Rudy and Patricia Rodriguez. Chrystal grew up in Itasca and graduated from Itasca High School in 1999. She was united in marriage to Timothy Ervin on October 3, 2009 in Itasca. Chrystal was currently employed with Leland’s in Grandview as the account manager. She enjoyed going to Winstar Casino on the weekends, shopping at Hobby Lobby, and numerous types of restaurants, especially Texas Roadhouse. Chrystal was very close to her nieces and enjoyed any activity they were involved in, that included sleepovers and late night movies.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rudy Rodriguez; grandfather, Joe Luis Rodriguez; grandfather, Jesse Rodriguez; and grandmother, Jesusa Rodriguez.

Chrystal is survived by her husband, Timothy Ervin; mother, Patricia Rodriguez; brother, Adam Rodriguez and wife Colleen O’Hearn; aunt, Carolyn Zamudio; uncle, Joe Rodriguez and wife Kathy; cousins, Lindsey Zamudio, Jessika Rodriguez, Nate Rodriguez, and Gabby Rodriguez; grandmother, Mary Lee Rodriguez; and 5 nieces, Jasmyn Rodriguez, Aleigha Rodriguez, Brooklynn Rodriguez, Jaelyn Rodriguez, and Avery Rodriguez.
