Clarence "Skip" Henry Tesch

Clarence Henry “Skip” Tesch age 73, of Aquilla passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children on Thursday, April 15, 2021. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. at The Church of Garden Valley, 22049 FM 1995, Lindale, Tx 75771. 

Skip was born on July 8, 1945, to Clarence and Ruby Tesch in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from W.W Samuell High School in 1963, Skip studied at East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. In 1978, Skip met and married the love of his life, Barbara Shipp Tesch.  They raised a blended family of four children; Michelle, Misty, Angel, and Chris.  Skip and Barbara loved to take road trips and enjoyed the outdoors.  Skip and Barbara shared 41 years of marriage and adventures before Barbara passed away on Christmas day in 2019. Skip later followed in his dad’s footsteps and began a career at Vought Aircraft Industries (now The Triumph Group) as a drivematic operator building both commercial and government aircraft.  Skip retired after 42 years of service. 

Skip is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Tesch; and parents, Clarence and Ruby Tesch. 

Skip is survived by his four children, Michelle and husband Shad Stambaugh, Misty Tesch, Chris Tesch and wife, Amanda; six grandchildren, Kelsey Drake and husband, Zach, Kristen Williams and husband, Ryan, Ethan Tesch, Kaitlyn Stambaugh, Elizabeth Tesch, and Chris Tesch; five great grandchildren, Judah, Camron, Aubrey, Anatasia, and Rion; his sister, Allene Creacy; nephews, Todd Creacy and wife Jennifer, Eric Creacy and wife, Paula; and niece, Cindy Creacy. 

We mourn the loss of our father and encourage all who knew him to remember the beauty that he brought to the world.
