David Freeman Barrett

David Barrett, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.   The family will be having a Celebration of Life on September 19, 2020 at 1 PM at the Community Center in Blum, Texas, and all are welcome to come and remember David Barrett.

He was born in Hillsboro, Texas on March 15, 1965, to Bill Barrett and Glendayln (Irving) Barrett. He was raised in Osceola TX where he graduated from Covington ISD.  He worked many jobs, but his most loved career was his own Firework Stand that he started in Osceola TX when he was 18 years old and has been a staple in the community for over 35 years.

David is proceeded in death by his parents Billy and Glendalyn Barrett and his first wife, Dianne (Shrader) Barrett. 

David is survived by his wife Leslie (Sparks) Barrett;  Brother Dale Barrett; his 5 Children Dusty Barrett, Daniel Barrett and wife, Rayni Barrett, Joshua Barrett, Danci Barrett, Dana Barrett Watters and husband, Tanner; two grandchildren, Brittany Wittu and Remington Barrett.
