David Beene

David Beene, 65, of Aurora passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at his residence.  No services will be held.  Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors of Hillsboro overseen the arrangements.

David was born May 13, 1955, in Belton, Texas to Denver Ell and Mary Joe (Ball) Beene. He lived all his life in Hillsboro, Texas and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1973. David attended Hill Jr. College and worked in the computer field until his retirement. He was a talented musician and played guitar, keyboard and the drums. David was a member of the Albatross Band along with Marty Allen Nelson and Tom Knox, who were his closest friends.  He also enjoyed snow skiing, scuba diving, singing, traveling, and especially taking cruises.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and sister, Sherry Adams.

David is survived by his stepmother, Robbie L. Beene; niece, Pam Engledow; and great nieces, nephews and cousins.
