David Burl Hanes

David Burl Hanes 72, of Whitney, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

David Hanes was born on June 25, 1948, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Burl and Hazel (Hill) Hanes.

 He loved riding motorcycles, fishing, and having a vegetable garden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Arthritis National Research Foundation or the Humane Society of North Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Hill Hanes, and his father Burl Hanes.

 He is survived by his wife, Linda Hanes, and his daughter, Katie Hanes.
