Diana Ruth (Green) Reed

Diana Ruth (Green) Reed, age 71, passed away on November 1, 2023 at Town Hall Estates in Whitney, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2023 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas. 

Diana was born on October 2, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Alfred Green and Ethel Stapleton. She has been described as an intelligent, hardworking, independent, and compassionate woman all of her life. Diana attended Hill College in Hillsboro, earning a degree in Business, and was on the Dean's List.  She worked as a financial advisor then continued her career in accounting. Diana was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed reading and singing. Her loving spirit will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Green; mother, Ethel Williams; stepfather, Edward Williams; brothers, Danny Green and Glen Green; sister in-law, Glenda Green; and niece, Deborah Goelzer.

Left to cherish Diana's memory are her daughter, Melissa and spouse, Jeff Taylor; grandchildren, Nathan Reed, Bridgette Nowlin, Alisha Taylor, Jeffory Taylor and Heather Taylor; four great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren on the way; brothers, Michael Green and wife Ruth, Mark Williams and wife Tammy, and Roger Green; sisters, Rebecca Green and husband Joe, and Sarah Ann Eleban; nieces and nephews, Teresa, Jennifer, Bubba, Joey, Kim, Stephanie, Cortnie, David Glen, Thad, Christian, Bobo, Tina, Dale, Sharron, Malia, and Kelei; and a host of other relatives and friends.
