Doanld Lee Leffler, 81, of Whitney passed away on October 10, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney with Pastor Rob Hurt officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney. A visitation will be held from Noon – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Donald was born on July 1, 1939, in Windber, Pennsylvania to Lester and Amanda (Custer) Leffler. He served his country in the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He worked for Otis Elevator Company as an elevator technician. Donald was the world’s greatest father.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter Tamara Siverson, and a granddaughter, Brandy Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Leffler; sons, Ed Siverson and wife Pat of Whitney, Dan Siverson of Pelican Bay, Texas, and Guy Leffler and wife, Vera of Hillsborough, NJ; daughters, Donna Sykes and husband, Elwyn of Tom Bean, TX, Mary Lou (Leffler) Cagle and husband, Bruce of Houghton Lake, MI, Donnette Smith and husband, Allen of Blue Ridge, TX, and Dawn Krueger and husband, Phil of Fort Pierce, FL; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Leffler and wife, Karen of Burlington, NJ; and a sister Dixie Southwich of Cape Coral, Fl.
