Dorothy K. (Baxter) Deweese

Dorothy K. Deweese, age 87 of Whitney, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2022, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Fort Graham Baptist Church in Whitney, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00am to 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney Texas.

Dorothy was born July 22, 1934 in Hillsboro Texas to Lewis and Ethel Mae (Cacy) Baxter.

Proceeding her and death is her husband, T.A. Deweese; children, David Rogers and Donna Martin; grandson, Jayme Deweese; siblings, Howard Baxter, Harold Baxter, James Baxter, and Lillian Ann Holt; daughter-in-law, Gail  Rogers..

Dorothy is survived by her children, Preston Rogers of Axtell Texas, Pamela Long and husband Ricky of Caddo Mills Texas, and Tracy Deweese of Rockwall Texas; sister, Betty Cotten and husband Kenneth of Pittsburg Texas; sister-cousin, Lavelle Ivie; grandchildren, Aaron Rogers and Sarah Sanford, Clay Rogers, David Rogers, Jr.,  Kimberly Vick, Justin Deweese, and Jayden Deweese, Kenny Miller Jr., Tony Clayton, Stolle Lloyd; and many great grandchildren.
