Frank J. Williams, Sr., 61, of Hillsboro went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, 2021, at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Rev. Darrel Beggs officiating. Burial will follow at Brandon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 5, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Frank was born on February 3, 1960, in El Paso, Texas, to Madine (Mitchell) and Floyd Williams. He spent much of his younger years in El Paso, before moving to Hill County in the 1980’s. After moving to Hill County, Frank married Vivian Toon, and they raised their family in Brandon and Hillsboro.
Frank was, as many have said, “larger than life.” You knew when he walked in a room, and it was usually with a joke. He enjoyed making people smile and laugh.
He was a jack-of-all trades and could fix just about anything. He had many different jobs from mechanic work, to cleaning various businesses, to his 30 years spent at Hill College. But whatever Frank was doing, he did it with his best. He was a hard-working, God fearing, family loving man who will be missed beyond words!
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Madine Modrall; sister, Jewella Long; and son, Jared Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vivian; son, Frank, Jr.; daughter, Angela and husband, David; granddaughter, Miranda; great-grandkids, Kason and Kaliyah; sisters, Ruthie and Kathie; brothers, Cleon and Wayne; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family; and a host of good friends.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, P. O. Box 263, Hillsboro, TX 76645 or Brandon Bynum Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 111, Brandon, TX 76628.
