Frankie Lavon (Rager) Lahr of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 pm, on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Covington Cemetery in Covington Texas.
Born in Hill County, Texas, Frankie was a mother, friend, and business owner of Two Sisters Antiques. After retiring from Emanual Medical Center in Turlock, California, she relocated to Hillsboro, Texas, where she served as City Secretary and owned Two Sisters Antiques. A lifelong friend to all who knew her, she was the best Mom and an advocate for animals, particularly her dog and cats. A member of the Hillsboro Garden Club, her yard was her special place.
Frankie is preceded in death by her son, Buddy (Emil) Lahr, and her brother, J.C. Rager. Survivors include her children, Janet L. Lahr of Hillsboro, Texas, Michael Lahr and his wife Ann of Corvallis, Oregon, Jon D. Lahr of West Hollywood, California and Daniel F. Lahr of Crestline, California; her grandson, Chad Lahr of Corvallis, Oregon, her sister, Annette (Nanci) Howard of Fort Worth, Texas, her brother, Robert (Potsy) Rager of Fort Worth, Texas and her niece, Stacy Daniell of Arlington, Texas.
