Glenn Joel Kelley, Jr.

Glenn Joel Kelley, Jr. age 35 of Brandon passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Dennis Maddox officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home.

Glenn was born on March 13, 1985 in Leachville, Arkansas to Glenn Joel, Sr. and Aletha Ann (Sherwood) Kelley. He graduated from Academy High School in 2004, then attended TSTC in Waco, receiving his degree in Computer Maintenance Technology. Glenn was united in marriage to Sara Villarrael on January 19, 2019 in Hillsboro. He was a very good navigator even as a small child. Glenn enjoyed hunting, shooting guns and wood working.  Glenn’s hobbies included collecting knives and guns. He worked as a truck driver for several years. Whatever Glenn was involved in he put his whole heart into it. He was a member of the Sons of Confederacy and Pentecostal faith.

Preceding him in death was his brother-in-law, Freddie Salinas, Jr.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Sara Kelley; parents, Glenn J. Kelley, Sr. and wife, Aletha; father-in-law, Paul Villarreal, brother, Mark Thrasher and wife, Becky; sisters, Mary Salinas and Monica Blackmon and husband, Bennie;  3 brothers-in-law, Joe Villarreal, David Villarreal, and John Villarreal and wife, Melanie; 2 nieces, Alyssia Salinas and Bethany Salinas; and nephew, Gabriel Blackmon.
