Imogene "Jean" Hollingsworth Obituary

Imogene "Jean" Hollingsworth, age 94 of Hillsboro passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020. Private family services will be held. Jean will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Jean was born September 28, 1925 in Purseley, Navarro County, Texas the daughter of Ben and Vera (Davis) Shell. She married Lewis Hollingsworth September 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 2011. She operated Shell's Dress Shop in downtown Hillsboro from 1956 until her recent retirement.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Joe Don Hollingsworth.

Surviviors include her son, Jim Hollingsworth and wife, Doris and three grandchildren.
