Jeffrey Alan Steinmetz

On Friday, September 16, 2022, Jeffrey Alan Steinmetz, loving father of four, passed away at the age of seventy-two. He will be laid to rest in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.

Jeff was born on November 11, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas to Arthur and Jaramilla (Dostal) Steinmetz. While attending TCJC in Fort Worth in 1969, he was drafted into the United States Army and called to serve his country in the Vietnam War.

Jeff found his craft as a tool and die maker. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time at the deer lease. His devotion to his faith was second to none. Jeff was known for his sense of humor, compassionate heart, and for being a man of his word. 

He is preceded in death by his father Arthur and mother Jaramilla and brother Paul “Speedy “Steinmetz. He is survived by; his four children, Jeremy, Eric, Rebecca and Priscilla; his sisters, Charlotte McGill and Carolyn Guidry; and eight grandchildren, Brett, Corbin, Benson, Logan, Dax, Emma, Rubee and Lucee.
