Jeffrey Turner

Jeffrey Turner, 73, of Blum, passed away on September 13, 2020, at his home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. James Stevens officiating.    Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park.   A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Jeffrey was born on December 20, 1946, in Cleburne, Texas to Olin Oscar and Dorothy Nell (Sims) Turner who were  originally from Huron, Texas.    On November 9, 1968, he married Ginger Ann Garner in Fort Worth, Texas.

He had a strong love for his family and country and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.      In his spare time, Jeffrey enjoyed fishing and raising a garden.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Turner of Blum; his children, daughter, Tracey Hamilton and his son, Jason Turner and wife, Tisha; grandchildren, Julie Helms and husband, Curtis, Alexis Turner and Jake Turner; great-grandchildren, Bailey Helms, Blake Helms, Abigayle Helms and David Helms; brothers, Boggs Turner and wife, Janna, Jerel Turner and wife, Donna, Jesse Turner and wife, Carolyn, J.G. Turner and wife, Beckey, and Jay Todd Turner and wife, Julie; sisters, Belinda Gilley, Terry Casillas, Susie Doty and husband, Michael, Jana Leck and husband, Stephen; as well as a host of loving family and friends.
