Jerry Wayne Shaw

Jerry Wayne Shaw, 85, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, formerly of Whitney, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home from complications of pancreatic cancer. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Visitation will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at Marshall & Marshall.

Mr. Shaw was born June 2, 1936, in Whitney to Bruce William and Margaret Niecey (Cappers) Shaw. He attended school in Whitney. Jerry married Eula Lee Golleher on August 4, 1956, in Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eula Lee Shaw on October 29, 2002, and his son, Jerry Lee Shaw on February 27, 1990.

Mr. Shaw married Dorothy Faye Strickland on August 14, 2004, who survives Jerry along with his daughter, Elizabeth Mayfield; his grandchildren, Anthony Shaw and his wife Colleen of Jacksboro, Shaunna Uzee and her husband Alex of Burleson, and Christopher Mayfield of Bridgeport; his stepdaughters Teresa Dodd of White Settlement, Linda Carter and her husband Dennis of Rio Vista, Michelle Strickland of Rhome; and numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
