Jimmy Roy Coffman, age 86 of Hillsboro passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2021, at Prairie Grove “Greenie” Cemetery near Aquilla with Levin Ainsworth officiating.
Jimmy was born February 15, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Raymond Harry and Geneva (Rhodes) Coffman. He grew up in the Hill County area. Jimmy was united in marriage to Betty Lou Walker on October 27, 1954 in Hillsboro. He worked for D.L Williams Wood Products for 30 years as a truck driver. Jimmy loved to hunt, go fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He was also a life member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited and was a staunch Republican.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and sisters, Mary Ketcher.and Eva Jones.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Coffman; children, Jimmy Raymond and wife Alice, Steven Glen Coffman, Lloyd Lee Coffman and wife Ruth, Allison Nanette Camacho and husband Mike, Tracy Laree Coffman, Christopher Eric Coffman; brother, Raymond Coffman and wife Linda; sisters, Susan May and husband Johnny and Sharon Kellum; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
