Johnny Duke Daniel

Johnny Duke Daniel, 58, of Itasca passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, from a heart attack at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.  Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Covington Church of Christ in Covington.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, OK. 

Johnny was born on July 24, 1963, in Seminole, OK, to Jack Keith and Sue (Bray) Daniel.  He was a 1982 graduate of Chickasha High School, where he played football and was awarded best defensive player.

Johnny worked for many years in the sports construction industry.  He was employed for Texas Sports Builders and most recently for Paragon Sports.

Johnny was the most genuine and loyal person to everyone.  He was always there for family and friends no matter what.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Daniel; and grandparents, Jess and Ettie Bray, Jep Daniel, and Ardith Wagoner, all of Seminole, OK.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Sue Daniel Robinson and Bill Robinson; son, Jack Daniel and wife, Aubrey; daughter, Kassie Daniel; step-daughter, Eliza Banegas; sisters, Toni Carver, Tracey Boyd, and Jackie Wheeler; grandchildren, Brayden Daniel, Jace Prescott, Bryston Prescott, Izaiah Turner, and Chloe Daniel; and nieces and nephews, Alexis Wheeler, Miranda Boyd, Bobby Boyd, Katie Lawson, Nikki Weeks, and Amber Daniel.
