Obituary
Kimberly Ann Melin, 51, passed away Monday morning, February 27, 2023, in Mansfield, Texas. She was born December 6, 1971, to William Kirt Sullivan and Phyllis Harvey Jacobs in Hialeah, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Melin, brother Jonathan Sullivan and sister Ashley Sullivan.
Kim attended high school in Copperas Cove, Texas and Lakeland, Florida. Kimberly worked as manager of Branded Burger in Waxahachie, Texas. She possessed a zest for living that was unmatched and loved her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and infectiously wonderful laugh. She genuinely loved life.
Kimberly is survived by her parents, William Kirt Sullivan, of Cape Coral, Florida, and Phyllis Harvey Jacobs, of Sun City West, Arizona; son Skyler Melin who serves in the U.S. Army in Korea; daughter, Stormee Melin of Waxahachie; daughter, Taylor Gerth and husband Nick of Apopka, Florida; and son, Austin Nealon of Waco, Texas. Additionally, Kimberly is survived by one brother, Billy Sullivan and wife Darlene of Somerville, Texas; one sister, Sommer Leatherwood and husband Matt of Cape Coral, Florida; two grandchildren, Joel Nealon and Oakley Gerth; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. All her family loved her very much and will miss her terribly.
