LaDonna Jean (Biven) Lewis

LaDonna Lewis of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of seventy-six.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas.

LaDonna was born in Champaign, Illinois on July 8, 1946, to Don and Pauline Biven. 

She attended Texas Women's University, where she received a degree in education. It was during this time that she met and married Robert Lewis on June 3, 1966. They raised two children, Kenneth and Holly.

After settling in Hillsboro in 1981, LaDonna worked several jobs before starting her teaching career in 1988. She dedicated thirty-one years to teaching at Hillsboro High School, retiring in 2019. 

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-nine years, Robert; her parents, Don and Pauline; and her sister Becky Kajs, LaDonna is survived by her children Kenneth Lewis and Holly Schatte; her sister Sharon Simons; and her nieces.
