Mable (Wilson) Allison

Mable Allison, 81, of Itasca passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. A burial will follow at Rio Vista Cemetery.

She was born February 16, 1943, to Grady and Rosie (Weems) Wilson, in Corsicana, Texas. Mable married Joe Allison in April 1960 and together they raised two children, Teresa and Joe. She worked for the Covington ISD as a teacher’s aide and office aide. She enjoyed old movies (the black and white ones), her kids and grandchildren.

Mable is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Rosie Wilson; her husband, Joe; three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Rodecker and her husband, Ronnie; Joe and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren Erin Stinemetz, Kyle Rodecker, and Sara Allison; Six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
